Great feedback from High Five parents!

"I saw my child play basketball for the first time. I believe being in a group sport gave him the self confidence that he can be in a team sport. Furthermore, it taught us as parents that our kids can conquer their fears of team sports, especially basketball. I also believe it helped him to have better hand/eye coordination & balance. Overall, this would have never happened for our kids if it wasn't for the wonderful staff who put it together."

"The focus the children had when participating and the fact that they were able to play a team sport without getting relegated to sidelines. They were active participants and valued team members."

"We had a great coach who was willing to include our child and accomodate her behaviors like eloping and not always following instructions. And the other volunteers were great too."

"The coaches are wonderful - they really "get" these kids so well - I think they are all PhD students in autism research, and it's clear they love their work. They are patient, positive, fair - and it was a fantastic way for our son to have his first experience of being on a team."

"The facility over at Crossroads was excellent, and the instructors are great with the kids but the best is that our kids who usually don't get to play (or want to play) sports can do so in a friendly environment."

"My son really enjoyed playing in the games and I appreciated the flexible, encouraging environment where he could play in 'real' games."
